It’s official! Southwest Airlines is flying to HAWAII!

Southwest Airlines made it officially official yesterday when they opened up ticket sales to Hawaii!

Although early routes are limited, the airline plans to expand availability in the coming months –

They are initially offering vacation packages to the islands of Oahu (HNL), Maui (OGG), and the Island of Hawaii (KOA).

Non Stop service to these islands will be offered from the origins of Oakland (OAK) and San Jose (SJC), California.

  • OAK to HNL: First flight on 3/17/19 with one daily nonstop.  Second daily nonstop will start 3/24/19.
  • OAK to OGG: First flight on 4/7/19 with one daily nonstop.  Second daily nonstop will start 4/10/19.
  • OAK to KOA: First flight on 5/12 connecting through HNL.
  • SJC to HNL: One daily nonstop will start 5/5/19.
  • SJC to OGG: One daily nonstop will start 5/26/19.
  • SJC to KOA: First flight on 5/12 connecting through HNL.

In addition to the above routes, packages to Oahu (HNL) and Maui (OGG) are also available from the following regions: San Diego (SAN), Los Angeles (LAX), Burbank (BUR), Ontario (ONT), Orange County (SNA), Long Beach (LGB), Albuquerque (ABQ), Boise (BOI), Denver (DEN), Spokane (GEG), Las Vegas (LAS), Portland (PDX), Phoenix (PHX), Seattle (SEA), Salt Lake City (SLC) and Minneapolis (MSP).

If you book through March 25, you can save $250 on travel to Hawaii!

If you live outside one of these destinations, or if Hawaii isn’t your thing (would that really apply to ANYONE?), you can save $150 on packages to mainland USA destinations, or $250 on packages to any of Southwest’s other international destinations…can you say Mexico or the Caribbean?
